PKCLsoft, indie developer of educational app titles such as Tap Times Tables and Money Up!, is proud to present their latest app, a world spanning strategy game called World of Hex.
World of Hex gives the player a chance to play on the world stage, competing against other players in an entire solar system of over 46,000 world tiles. Players join one of four factions, playing against the others to compete for control over these world tiles. The faction owning the most tiles, controls the solar system!
Inspired by the 1983 game, Fortress, World of Hex takes this classic game to a new level, allowing players to develop their skills, and design a personal AI which acts to defend the player when they are not present in the game.
World of Hex lives in the cloud, and as such is a game that is always in-play. The state of each world tile is preserved from one game to the next.
Players can return to the world and monitor their factions progress, defend their tiles or play to win more.
Once you start to win, you won’t want to stop.
World of Hex costs US$0.99.
World of Hex v2.0 will launch on iPhone, iPad and Apple TV on the 15th of November 2018.
